Put yourself first
Sometimes you know exactly what it is you need to feel better, but somehow you put it off and place your needs last on your to-do list. Remind yourself that you are just as important as everybody else and prioritise feeling good.
Occasionally lack of confidence comes from lack of self-knowledge, the answer here is to get to know yourself better! Become more self-aware by being present in your own life and living in the now.
Be curious and find out what makes you tick!
By facing your fears, you will develop greater self-confidence. If you always avoid what you’re afraid of how will you ever find out what is possible? When you’re unwilling to do something good for yourself, take a leap of faith and do it anyway, you won’t regret it!
If you are sensitive to other peoples comments and absorb others emotions, it might be time to start flexing your resilience muscle. Allow criticism to go over your head and focus on being a better version of yourself. Strive for progress, not perfection and try not to let other people opinions affect you.

Have you ever listened to yourself internally, your inner dialogue can be quite cruel can’t it? Berating yourself when you make a mistake or blaming yourself for things going wrong is unproductive and can lead to depression and anxiety.
Speak kindly to yourself just like you would to somebody else! If you notice yourself uttering a negative belief, like “I can never get anything right” – a firm favourite of mine, then stop straight away!
Feel good and find your inner awesomeness! Remind yourself you have a choice and you don’t have to believe your negative thoughts.
